Occurrence, Billing Error Defense, Animal and Increased Board Defense Now Offered 

In an effort to provide their insureds with more coverage options, the ChiroFutures Malpractice Program announced they will be rolling out several new enhancements to their policy in 2015.

"We were already very proud of our coverages and with these new enhancements and options we are really excited" stated ChiroFutures CEO & Co-Founder Matthew McCoy DC, MPH.  

One of the new offerings is Occurrence coverage in addition to the Claims Made coverage ChiroFutures has always offered.

In addition, ChiroFutures insureds will be able to enhance their policy with the following:

  • Optional Health Plan/Medicare/ Medicaid Billing Error Defense protection up to $100,000
  • Optional Animal care coverage
  • Optional $100,000 for regulatory board defense. 

These enhancements will be rolled out on a state by state basis in 2015.

In addition to providing value in terms of coverage and costs, ChiroFutures is heavily involved in supporting the chiropractic profession. Both Dr. McCoy and Carrino have served the chiropractic profession in various capacities since their graduation from Life College of Chiropractic in 1989.

In collaboration with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and the Foundation for Vertebral Subluxation, ChiroFutures supports the Advancing Futures Research & Scholarship Program dedicated to training the next generation of subluxation researchers.

ChiroFutures also established the Larry Webster Memorial Scholarship for students currently enrolled in chiropractic college who want to conduct research in this area.
