Urges All Stakeholders to Have their Voices Heard

The Foundation for Vertebral Subluxation has submitted a letter to the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE), highlighting critical issues plaguing chiropractic education. This letter serves as a clarion call for reform, addressing several concerns including those surrounding CCE's Meta-Competency # 7 which conflates the terms "vertebral subluxation" with "articular dysfunction" and "manipulation with adjustment".

The FVS further addresses student loan debt, failure rates, and the stifling lack of competition within chiropractic academia, primarily due to the monopolistic influence of the CCE and the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE). As we take this significant step toward reshaping the future of chiropractic education, we extend an impassioned plea to all stakeholders, educators, practitioners, and students alike, urging them to join us in issuing similar letters. Together, we can drive the change needed to ensure a brighter and more equitable future for the chiropractic profession.

Join the Conversation and Respond to the CCE's Call for Comments

We also encourage you to respond to the Council on Chiropractic Education's (CCE) call for public comments on the Final Draft of the revised CCE Accreditation Standards & CCE Residency Accreditation Standards. These revisions are being influenced by a multitude of sources, including recommendations from various workgroups from within the chiropractic educational world. What is missing is input from other stakeholders outside of the chiropractic educational bubble and the related self interest inherent within it.
